A new Executive Team was elected at North of 50’s Annual General Meeting held in October:
Rick Westlake – President
Sally Slumskie – Treasurer
Michael Marshall – Secretary
What a great team! Rick, Sally, and Michael are residents of PaB and members of North of 50 in very good standing. Rick brings a wealth of business and management skills to the position. Sally brings her expertise in finance being a Certified Professional Accountant, and Michael, as many of you know, was the Chaplain at Toronto Sick Kids Hospital and brings strong organizational and interpersonal skills side by side with wit and humour. Each one is strongly committed to North of 50’s mission which is anchored on three things:
– promoting civic engagement,
– strengthening community
– promoting healthy aging (continuing our historical commitment)
Many thanks and much appreciation goes to our outgoing Executive
– Anna Allevato (President), Tom Lundy (Treasurer), and Cindy Pulchinski (Secretary) – for the many many hours of volunteer time given to the community on behalf of North of 50, for all they’ve done to keep our organization strong and safe, and for their unwavering commitment to the work we do.
The new team has the full support of the Past President and her commitment to work together to ensure a smooth transition and to continue to strengthen this organization in ways that benefit our community.
